With John Galliano heading Maison Margiella, it was up to Bill Gaytten to present the labels new collection.
The venue was an old lycee’s sports pavillion, so it made perfect sense that F1 champion Lewis Hamilton was there in the front lane row. But as sports go, that was it. The collection consists mainly of romantic edwardian clothing and militar jackets, which wouldn’t look out of place in a contemporary production of a Jane Austen novel.
